Jonway EV's biggest market is Europe, where an affordable and competitive initial purchase price, combined with a lower total cost of ownership, plays a crucial role in the decision-making of SME fleet owners. With stricter regulations on gas-powered light commercial vehicles in the city centers of major cities, more SMEs are switching to efficient, small commercial vehicles such as our IONAxs, T21, and Wli3.

Jonway EV's second biggest market is South America, where passenger and commercial electric vehicles have grown rapidly over the last few years. We established a strong presence in Brazil with our IONAxs back in 2024 through our local partner, supporting expansion in the local market as well as across the entire continent. Since 2025, we have also operated an assembly line there, which further supports sales throughout Latin America.

Jonway EV's third biggest market is the UK, where we entered in 2023 with a small batch of vehicles. By 2026, our sales grew almost sixfold, signaling that our IONAxs model is very well received by SMEs and individual buyers alike, thanks to its competitive pricing and lower total cost of ownership (TCO). In addition to the UK market, our partner also covers all right-hand drive (RHD) markets.

Governments in the MENA region are actively investing in policies and infrastructure to advance electric vehicle adoption. With subsidies and reduced tariffs in some places, Jonway EV has formed robust partnerships in the region to support this rapid development.

After entering Southeast Asian markets in 2025—including Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia—Jonway EV is strategically focusing on government-supported sectors, as well as commercial clients seeking affordable, efficient delivery solutions to reduce operating costs.

EV adoption in Africa is accelerating, driven by high fuel costs and a strong push for L-category vehicle electrification. Over 21 African nations have either developed or already implemented e-mobility policies, including tax exemptions and reduced import duties. Jonway EV is actively developing this market to support the electrification transition with its IONAxs and T21 models, promoting green transportation across the continent.
