In May 2025, we had the exciting opportunity to present our IONAxs model to the world stage at the 137th Canton Fair in Guangzhou. The event is one of the largest and most influential trade fairs globally, bringing together a diverse companies and buyers from across the planet.

This year’s edition of the fair was notable for its impressive scale. Around 31,000 companies participated—nearly 900 more than the previous year—an indication of the ongoing momentum in global trade and business development. Over 200,000 overseas buyers preregistered, representing more than 200 countries and regions. Among them were well-known retail giants like Walmart and Target from the United States, Carrefour from France, Tesco and Kingfisher from Britain, and Metro from Germany. Their presence highlighted the international significance of this event as a hub for connecting supply and demand across continents.

The fair was organized into three distinct phases, covering efficient manufacturing, home furnishings, and a broad range of products aimed at improving quality of life. One of the exciting additions this year was the debut of a special zone dedicated to service robots, showcasing some of China’s most recent advances in artificial intelligence and automation technology.

Against this dynamic backdrop, we presented the IONAxs, our efficient and practical urban delivery vehicle. The response was encouraging and reflected a growing appetite for solutions that balance performance, sustainability, and affordability.

IONAxs can carry loads of up to 550 kilograms and reach speeds up to 75 kilometers per hour. It’s powered by a 23 kWh battery pack, allowing it to cover distances beyond 200 kilometers on a single charge. This combination positions the IONAxs as an ideal choice for last-mile deliveries, particularly within busy urban environments where quiet operation and zero tailpipe emissions help reduce noise pollution and improve air quality.

The IONAxs is classified as an L7e-CU vehicle. It requires minimal maintenance, can be recharged overnight, and benefits from exemption from congestion taxes—factors that contribute to reducing operating costs and increasing efficiency for businesses.

Visitors to our booth came from a wide range of countries, with many from regions connected to initiatives like the Belt and Road and BRICS nations showing high interest. Their engagement indicated a keen awareness of the advantages that the IONAxs offers in replacing traditional diesel vans with more sustainable alternatives.

Our time at the fair reinforced the sense that the days of conventional diesel delivery vehicles are indeed numbered, making way for smarter, greener solutions that deliver more value for less. The positive feedback and conversations we had with potential buyers around the world have been inspiring and energizing.
