The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is a key international economic and trade event, jointly confirmed by the leaders of China and ASEAN. Since its first successful event in Nanning, Guangxi in November 2004, the city has been the permanent host of this annual expo. The CAEXPO was first proposed by China in October 2003 at the 7th ASEAN-China Summit, and the idea was enthusiastically supported by the ten ASEAN countries.

The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) is showcasing several key pavilions focused on future industries. The AI Pavilion highlights AI applications, from emergency response and agriculture to core technologies like AI chips and generative AI.

Additionally, the expo features the Blue Economy Pavilion, dedicated to marine technologies and industries, and the Green & Low-carbon Technologies Pavilion, which focuses on environmental protection and sustainable solutions. The NEV Pavilion showcases the latest in new energy and intelligent connected vehicles.
